The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch and asking for the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that occurred in June.
The male suspect is described as an Aboriginal male with a thin build, dark skin and short, dark, straight hair. He was wearing rectangular-framed glasses and a t-shirt.
On Friday, June 12, 2015 at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to an alleged sexual assault on the High Level Bridge. It is reported that a 28-year-old female was walking northbound on the sidewalk when she was passed by a man walking southbound.
The man allegedly turned toward the female, and after a short verbal exchange, sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing southbound on foot.
