On July 30, 2021 at 10:55pm, a cyclist was hit by a silver Kia Optima (2106-2019 model) at the location of 129 Ave and 97 Street.
After checking on the cyclist, the driver of the Kia collected his vehicle debris and left the location. The cyclist was then transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Kia will have notable damage to the rear passenger side, along with a front facing Edmonton Oilers vanity plate.
