EPS Detectives have released a composite drawing of a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on April 2, 2008 at 1:40 p.m. After further investigation, detectives have also released information that the assault was of a sexual nature.
Caucasian male, wearing a green ball cap, orange jacket with dark sleeves (possibly blue and made of felt or leather), dark pants, heavy footwear and non-reflective aviator style sunglasses with a solid brown tint. He has short darker salt and pepper coloured hair seen just below the ball cap, a solid build and between 5’6” and 5’11” in height. The suspect smelled of cigarette smoke
Police are looking for a man in connection with a home-invasion-style break in and sexual assault which occurred on Wednesday, April 2, 2008. At approximately 1:40 p.m. police responded to a report of a 27-year-old woman in the area of 55 Street and 94A Avenue who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male stranger in her home. The woman’s hands were bound behind her back but she managed to call police after the suspect fled the scene. She was taken to hospital for treatment and later released. Detectives continue to investigate.
