On November 3, 1981, an injured male entered a business stating he had been stabbed and needed an ambulance.
When police met with the male at the hospital, he disclosed that he had been drinking with the male who stabbed him at a scrap yard at 9629 – 105A Avenue.
Police attended the scrap yard and located the body of Horace COCHRANE with multiple stab wounds. It was later discovered that Horace had been drinking earlier in the day with the injured male reporter, the deceased Lorne MCKAY, and an unidentified male. Investigators believed that the unidentified male may be involved in the death of both Horace and Lorne.
