On July 02, 2017, NUR was in a vehicle with friends after leaving Society Nightclub.

The group had been asked to leave after an altercation in the club. Before the group could drive away, an unknown male approached the vehicle and fired several shots. Three people, including NUR, were shot. NUR subsequently died from his wounds.
