Just after 5 a.m., April 19, 2016, Edmonton Fire Rescue arson investigators requested the assistance of police within a burnt-out rental suite near 106 Avenue and 122 Street.
A deceased male was found within the suite. Due to the extent of the fire damage within the suite, EPS Arson Unit detectives and a forensic identification team were dispatched as a precautionary measure.
An autopsy was conducted on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 and the Medical Examiner determined Blair died as a result of a gun-shot wound.
There is a reward of up to $40,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this homicide.
