On September 30, 1955 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a fight broke out at the Trocadero Dance Hall, previously located at 10151 103 Street.
Robert GIEBELHAUS had gotten into a consensual fight with an unidentified male. Witnesses stated that Robert was struck in the jaw and knocked unconscious. Robert struck his head on the sidewalk.
The suspect fled on foot with two of his friends and has never been identified. Robert never regained consciousness and died approximately 10 hours later due to brain hemorrhaging.
