Police services around the world have joined in a social media campaign called the #9PMRoutine. Over social media, police services remind their followers to conduct a check around their homes to ensure their property is secure. This is a routine that should be done any time you park your vehicle, before you leave your house, and before you go to bed.
 

What to check:

• Garage - is it closed? Is it locked?
• Vehicle(s) - are the windows closed? Are there any valuables within sight? Are all of the doors locked?
• Home - are all of the accessible windows closed? Are all of the doors locked? Are there any valuables within sight from the exterior?
