Impaired driving

On Aug. 14 at 7:45 a.m., police responded to Lessard Rd. and 199 St. for the report of vehicle colliding with a house. The vehicle, travelling at approximately 140 km/h in a 60 km/h zone, lost control, left the roadway and collided with a tree, fence and finally a home. The occupants of the home did not report any injuries. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital for medical treatment. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this collision.
