Last week, police were called to assist with the clearing of an encampment that was blocking construction worker access in the area of 96 Street and 104 Avenue. Police encountered a female at the camp who provided a false name to police before being identified as a suspect with two warrants out for her arrest. After searching the suspect, over 70 grams of crystal meth with an approximate street value of nearly $6,000 was recovered in addition to drug paraphernalia. The female was arrested on her outstanding warrants and faces drug trafficking charges.
