On Feb. 23, 2025, at 1:15 a.m., police responded to the Millwoods Transit Centre to assist Peace Officers with an arrest. An adult male had reportedly taken a plastic bag he was using to cover his feet and forced it into the face of a female senior who was waiting at the transit centre. Peace Officers intervened before the random attack continued. The female was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. Multiple charges are pending.
