Mischief

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., West Branch Investigative Response Team detectives were travelling in the area of Stony Plain Road and 156 Street when they observed a female suspect that was reportedly throwing large rocks at vehicles passing by. When approached, the suspect ran away and was taken into custody a short distance away. A 29-year-old female faces numerous charges in relation to the incident. 

Shooting

On Friday, June 7, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Northwest Branch patrol officers responded to the report of gunshots heard in the area of 150 Avenue and 105 Street. Upon arrival, police located spent shell casings. It appears that two vehicles were shooting at each other before both fleeing. The incident remains under investigation.
