Call for service - October 22 - October 28, 2024

On Oct. 28, 2024, at 11:32 a.m., officers with the Healthy Streets Operations Centre (HSOC) team were approached by a man who said he was robbed by two suspects in the area of 101 Street and 103 Avenue. After a brief foot chase, both suspects were arrested. Search incident to arrest, police identified evidence of drug trafficking. Both suspects now face multiple charges.

 

At 9:48 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2024, police responded to a robbery at a liquor store in the area of Calgary Trail and 34 Avenue. It was reported to police that a significant quantity of liquor was taken from the store and an employee was bear sprayed when they attempted to stop the two male suspects. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported, and police were able to arrest both suspects without incident.

 

At 8:32 p.m. on Oct. 23, 2024, EPS’ Traffic Enforcement Section stopped an Audi sedan travelling 166 km/hr in a posted 100km/hr zone on Anthony Henday Drive at Baseline Road. The adult male driver was issued a mandatory court summons.
