Man charged in 2021 homicide

One man has been charged in the September 2021 stabbing death of Tre Delver.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sep. 4, 2021, a seriously injured male was found at a bus stop on the north side of 118 Avenue at 85 Street. EMS attempted life-saving measures; however, the male died on scene.

The Edmonton Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Sep. 9, 2021 and identified the male as Tre Delver, 19. The cause of death was determined to be a stab wound, and the manner of death was homicide.

On Mar. 20, 2025, Homicide detectives charged Andy Michael Kytwayhat, 24 with second degree murder. The accused and victim were known to one another. Police are not investigating any other suspects.
