Police seek assistance identifying suspects in shooting and vehicle arson

Police are looking for information about a shooting and subsequent vehicle arson that occurred in north Edmonton in March 2024. 

At approximately 10 p.m. on Mar. 29, 2024, more than 10 shots were fired at a white SUV parked outside a Beaumaris residence near 102 Street and 158 Avenue. Stray rounds struck multiple vehicles and a residence in the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Shortly after, a black SUV believed to be connected to the shooting was seen burning in the area of 92 Street and 144 Avenue. The vehicle fire damaged multiple adjacent vehicles and property, and posed a significant risk to the community. Surveillance video obtained from the scene depicts two unknown people running away from the burning vehicle. Police are looking for any information leading to the identity of the two people.
