On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., police were called to the area of 92 Street and 34 Avenue for a large commercial fire.
When police arrived, several businesses in the strip mall were engulfed in flames. It is believed that 25 units were destroyed, resulting in several million dollars in damages.
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) initially responded and deemed the fire as suspicious. As such, the EPS Investigation Response Team has since taken over the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with dash camera or security camera footage from the area between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, to contact EPS. Likewise, police are asking members of the public who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the neighbourhood to please come forward.
