The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the whereabouts of a 33-year-old male suspect in relation to a suspicious death which occurred earlier today.
On Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at approximately 11:32 a.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the area of 34 Street and 138 Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they located a severely injured 32-year-old male in critical condition.
EMS responded on scene, treated and transported the male to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Homicide Section detectives have since taken over the investigation. An autopsy has not yet been scheduled.
Michael Ferreira, 33, is wanted for second-degree murder. Ferreira is believed to be armed and dangerous.
