National Bolo Program offers rewards for Edmonton murder suspects Saed Osman

For Immediate Release: 23-Apr-2024 @ 12:29 PM
MRU #: H24R017

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has once again partnered with Bolo to locate a suspect currently wanted Canada-wide for murder.

The Bolo Program complements police efforts to locate Canada’s most wanted suspects from various jurisdictions, focusing on the most serious criminal offences with the creation of a “Top 25” list. From Edmonton is Saed Osman, who was #4 on the national list last year, and is ranked #8 for 2024.

Wanted: Saed Osman (Bolo #8)

Reward: Up to $50,000.00

On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at approximately 2:45 a.m., police responded to the report of shots fired at Ertale lounge, located at 124 Street and 118 Avenue in Edmonton. Upon arrival, police located multiple victims outside the establishment.

EMS responded, treated, and transported two females and four males to hospital with various injuries. A fifth injured male attended a hospital on his own. One of the male victims, identified as Imbert George, 28, succumbed to his injuries. Investigators have since determined that the suspects allegedly fired approximately 70 rounds in a crowded area, and all seven victims were innocent bystanders who were randomly struck.

Two men were charged in relation to the murder but Saed Osman, 27, is still outstanding. Osman is wanted for first degree murder, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life (x6) and multiple other firearms offences. He is also known by the alias Guled Osman, and/or the nickname Styles.

Osman is from Ontario, but has strong ties to Edmonton, where he may still reside. He is described as a Black male with brown eyes and black hair, which was previously known to be braided. He is six feet tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds, and has a scar on his right wrist.

Wanted: Saed Osman, 29

First degree murder

New for the Bolo Program this year is a one-of-a-kind interactive online contest available from April 23, 2024, to June 4, 2024, on the Bolo website. Consisting of a ‘skill test’ featuring most wanted suspects, the objective of the contest is to generate awareness for Bolo’s Top 25, and to encourage citizens to be on the lookout.

In cooperation with the Crime Stoppers Association of Edmonton and Northern Alberta, the Bolo Program offers rewards for any information leading to the arrest of either suspect. This reward is only available until Dec. 3, 2024.

Osman may be armed, is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Investigators are urging anyone with information regarding Osman’s whereabouts or any other information about his crime to please contact the EPS directly at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
