Wang will be residing in Edmonton after being released from the Edmonton Remand Centre on January 14, 2025. The Hate Crimes Unit of the Edmonton Police Service, in conjunction with the Edmonton Police Service Behavioural Assessment Unit, has applied for an 810.2 Peace Bond to be able to better supervise Wang.
Wang is believed to be a violent offender who has expressed homicidal ideations towards the public. As well, he is believed to have conducted attacks on infrastructure within communities he resides in.
Anyone with any information about any criminal offenses committed by Wang can contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
The Edmonton Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community.
