Police seek public’s assistance locating missing autistic male

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing 15-year-old autistic male.

Darshan Rai, 15, was last seen at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at Southgate Mall. He is described as 4’10”, thin build, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing the teal ‘Next Level’ hoodie as pictured below and grey track pants.

 

Missing male: Darshan Rai, 15

He is familiar with public transit and has been known to frequent malls and some public libraries. Darshan is autistic and requires medication and as such, family and police are concerned for his welfare.
