Police seek public's assistance in locating missing youth

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old male.

Xavier Skinner, 16, was reported missing to the EPS on Feb. 26, 2025. He was reportedly last seen during the week of Feb. 7, 2025, in the downtown area and was staying in an encampment. He has not had any contact with family or friends since.

Xavier is described as 6’2” tall and 220 lbs., with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black “Vans” shoes and a camo backpack.

Xavier regularly uses transit and is known to frequent downtown and northeast areas of Edmonton. He has been known to use the aliases of Alex Carter and Xavier Donovan.

Police and Xavier’s family are extremely concerned for his wellbeing. Anyone who has seen Xavier or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
