MRU #: TR25003-1

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) officers are seeking to contact the friends or family of a 66-year-old man who died in Edmonton last week.

On Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, the EPS issued a news release regarding a male pedestrian who succumbed to his injuries after a collision.

Police have since identified the man as Perry Eastman, 66, and are asking for the public’s assistance to help find a next of kin, his family or his friends.

“We are hopeful that a member of the public will contact us with information that will help us reach the friends or family of Mr. Eastman,” says Sgt. Duane Bateman of EPS’s Major Collisions Investigation Section. “As we seek to bring closure to his passing, we appreciate any assistance that will help us contact his loved ones.”

Police are asking anyone who may have information about Perry Eastman’s friends or relatives to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
