Police seek public’s assistance to ID and locate armed robbery suspect

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect responsible for a recent armed robbery at a southeast mall clothing outlet store.

       

Assist to ID: Armed robbery suspect, get-away driver & vehicle

At approximately 8 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, a female suspect entered a clothing outlet store near 50 Street and 98 Avenue.

It was reported to police that the female selected items from the store, then placed them into a shopping basket.

Prior to leaving the store, the female suspect was approached by staff, at which time she pulled out a firearm and threatened to shoot them. She left the store with the stolen property at approximately 8:20 p.m., before fleeing the mall parking lot in a 1996-2000 red Honda Civic Coupe being driven by a male get-away driver.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this female suspect, the male get-away driver and/or suspect vehicle is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
