Police seek public's assistance identifying suspect in armed bank robbery

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance locating a male suspect in an armed bank robbery in southeast Edmonton.

On Dec. 27, 2024, at 5:53 p.m., a masked male armed with a firearm robbed a bank in the area of Parsons Road and Ellerslie Road. After the robbery, the suspect fled westbound on a bicycle, and police believe he was picked up by a vehicle on the east side of Gateway Boulevard, just north of the Ellerslie Road overpass.

Police are seeking assistance identifying the suspect in the image and video shown below. Police are also looking to speak with whoever may have picked him up on Dec. 27 at approximately 6 p.m. on Gateway Boulevard just north of the Ellerslie overpass. Motorists traveling in the area at the time of the offence are also asked to check their dashcam footage for video of the suspect.
