Police locate remains of missing woman

Sadly, a missing person investigation has led to the discovery of human remains.

On Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, the EPS requested public assistance in locating missing woman Aylissa Rovere, 32. Through the course of the investigation, police began to suspect Rovere had met with foul play, and as such, the EPS Homicide Section took the lead in the investigation.

Over the weekend, police executed a search warrant at an address in Parkland County, where human remains were found. An autopsy completed on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 confirmed the deceased to be Aylissa Rovere, and the manner of death was determined to be homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time for investigative reasons.

Collin Boucher-Gionet, 34 is wanted on warrants for second degree murder and indignity to a body in relation to the death of Aylissa Rovere. The two were in an intimate relationship.
