Police seek public's assistance identifying suspect in gas bar robbery

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance locating a male suspect in a gas bar robbery in north central Edmonton.

On Nov. 13, 2024, at 6:51 p.m., a masked male entered a gas bar at 118 Street and Kingsway Avenue and demanded cigarettes. An altercation occurred between the clerk and the male suspect, who then deployed bear spray at the clerk and fled on foot westbound through the parking lot. Investigators believe the suspect lives in the area.

The suspect is described as 5’5” to 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 145 lbs. He was wearing a white full-face mask, a ball cap, a black Reebok sweater or jacket, black pants and black and white runners.

Police are seeking assistance identifying the suspect shown in the images below.
