At 1:39 a.m. this morning, Northwest Branch officers responded to a report of an injured male on the sidewalk at 102 Street and Kingsway. When police arrived, they located an unresponsive 34-year-old male with serious injuries. EMS treated and transported him to hospital, where he later died.

Homicide Section has taken over the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for next Wednesday, May 22.
