On Monday, June 10, 2024, at approximately 5:13 a.m., Downtown Branch patrol officers responded to the area of 109 Avenue and 96 Street on the report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. EMS responded and the man was declared deceased on scene.
A male suspect was taken into custody shortly after the incident and Homicide Section detectives have since taken over the investigation.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
