Civilian Members and their families

Confidential counselling services for civilian employees of the Edmonton Police Service, and their families, are available through Homewood Health.

This Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provides professional assessment, short-term counselling, and assists in referrals to appropriate community service programs. The service is available to all civilian EPS employees and their eligible dependents. Phone calls are confidential and accessible seven days a week at 1-800-663-1142.

For permanent employees, partial reimbursement may be available through your major medical benefits plan if you wish to access a counsellor outside of those provided through Homewood Health.
