Brittany Thaxter, Registered Psychologist

Brittany Thaxter is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She specializes in working with complex trauma, PTSD, and chronic stress. Brittany is trained in EMDR and works to support clients in coping with day-to-day life in the ways that best serve them and their loved ones. She has additional training in nature-based therapy and equine assisted mental health. Brittany has been working with first responders, such as police, EMS, and veterans since 2022. Brittany also has a variety of experience supporting loved ones of first responders in navigating the challenges of holding space for front line work in their day-to-day lives.
