Deborah Johansson

Deborah Johansson is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is a seasoned therapist with skills and knowledge related to a multitude of individual/family emotional and psychological issues. Her special skills and interests are in the areas of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress and burnout, parenting issues, communication problems, gender and identity issues, and much more.  She uses a number of treatment modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Bowenian Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Structural Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and several others to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Deb has significant experience working with First Nations, Police, Veterans, Correctional Officers, Social Workers, Physicians, Registered Nurses, Veterinarians, and Registered Vet Techs, along with many other first responders.
