Harold has been providing counselling services for almost forty years. He has successfully raised two now adult children and believes in the importance of life long learning and creativity.

Harold has worked successfully in providing marital and family counselling, specializing in the problems of adolescents and teens. He has an interest in counselling men’s issues and examining the manner in which our old beliefs limit ourselves.

Harold draws on the work of Gabor Mate and Patrick Carnes in providing addiction assessment and treatment. His work has focused on working with those experiencing dependence on alcohol, drugs, gambling and sexual addictions.

Harold holds to the idea of Anais Nin that ‘we don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are’. Counselling should help us expand our ability to see new patterns and opportunities and move past old habits and limitations.
