Dr. Leanna Cruikshank

Dr. Leanna Cruikshank is a Registered Psychologist with a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, trauma, and stress-related difficulties. She works frequently with adults experiencing post-traumatic and critical incident stress, panic, and emotional dysregulation in response to overwhelming life experiences. She has also worked extensively with mild traumatic brain injury (concussion), which is often sustained in a traumatic context. She has advanced training in trauma-focused therapies and is committed to supporting those who may be struggling with the complex, often overlapping symptoms of physical and emotional injuries. She provides counselling services for post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and various interpersonal difficulties.

Dr. Cruikshank completed her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Alberta, where her research focused on visual memory. Additionally, she completed a postdoctoral residency in Neuropsychology. She has conducted numerous comprehensive neuropsychological and vocational assessments. She particularly enjoys working with clients in a counselling capacity, helping them to achieve their goals.
