Mariel Ansion

Mariel Ansion is a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She first specialized in cross-cultural counselling. Through her work with immigrants and refugees she discovered her passion for working with trauma and took more specialized training such as EMDR and ART. Since 2020 she has been working with first responders such as Police, EMS, Fire, and veterans supporting them process work-related trauma. She provides counselling for post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as issues pertaining relationships,  parenting, and supporting family members of first responders.
