Natasha Swift, Registered Social Worker

Natasha is an experienced Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. She has worked with both adults and youth, providing mental health counselling and crisis intervention. Natasha specializes in the assessment and treatment of substance use, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and self-harm behaviours; she has a particular interest in assisting youth with the transition to adulthood.

Natasha collaborates with individuals to identify treatment goals and process difficult incidents, emotions, and sensations. She utilizes a diverse counselling approach, combining Person-Centred Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Natasha has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
