Nicolas Allen

I became registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists in 2009 and hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle. I have a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta where I specialized in Sports Performance and Sport Psychology. My office is part of a multi-disciplinary performance center in Glenora.

I treat a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, concussion rehabilitation, and sport/performance psychology. I use a variety of therapy modalities including Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and tailor therapy to best suit your individual needs and reach your goals.

By helping people identify the things they wish to change in their lives and further develop the skills they already have, I help clients begin to construct a concrete vision for themselves and work toward making that vision a reality. My flexible approach ensures that client’s needs are the primary focus and therapy is only as long as it needs to be.
Specialty areas:

• Anxiety and Mood Disorders (Depression)
• Eating Disorders
• Post-Concussion Rehabilitation
• Sport/Performance Psychology
