Patricia Story completed her Master Degree in Social Work with a clinical specialisation at the University of Calgary in 1998. Since 2002, she has focused her clinical work primarily with Canadian Armed Forces Members, Veterans, Edmonton Police Service Members, and Paramedics recovering from anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress. She has received specialist training in several evidence-based PTSD treatments including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Cognitive Behavioural Conjoint Therapy (CBCT). She has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and the Externship for Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT). Patricia has extensive experience working with both individuals and couples who are coping with the symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, as well as work related and other family stressors.
