I'm Teddie Fussell and I work with individual adults and couples in my St. Albert location. I aim to provide a relaxed, friendly place for you to explore changes you want to make. I believe in working in a collaborative manner to help you form alternative perspectives, identify strengths, connect with valuable community resources, and experience success in new ways of interacting. My clients tell me my thoughtful, calm manner helps them feel safe to open up and put vulnerable feelings and concerns into words. I have been registered as a psychologist in Alberta since 1997, have been married to a now retired EPS member for over 20 years and also served eight years with Victim Services Unit.
As an approved provider with many employee assistance programs, I readily use brief therapy approaches. However, I draw upon many therapeutic modalities as well as life experience from my personal roles as spouse, parent, sibling, child, employee, volunteer, and others. I also draw experience from working in education, mental health, corrections, as well as not-for-profit settings and am familiar with the culture of several workplace industries including emergency services and the military.
I have a particular interest in helping individuals and couples cope with the impact of a marital/ relationship affair or infidelity. Whether you are a partner feeling betrayed, the partner engaged in an affair, an affair partner, or a friend just trying to help, I can be of assistance.
