Victoria Hebert

Victoria is a Registered Psychologist specializing in the treatment of trauma and grief. Victoria has served 13 years in the mental health field working in both inpatient and outpatient forensic settings, private practice, and community rehabilitation programs.

She has obtained extensive training for the treatment of trauma including Eye-movement. Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, advanced training in the Early Trauma Protocol for EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing ®. Understanding the significant impact that trauma has on the brain and body is important to consider in therapy, ensuring symptoms that are experienced are adequately addressed by these treatment modalities.

Victoria graduated from City University of Seattle in 2019 with a Master of Counselling degree. Her capstone research focused on somatic (body-based) interventions for the treatment of adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. During this time of conducting her capstone research, Victoria was a counselling intern at Saffron Centre, supporting adolescents and adults who have experienced sexual violence.

Currently in private practice, Victoria works with first responders and clients who have experienced traumatic losses. Utilizing trauma-informed and evidence-based treatments in therapy is important, providing a compassionate and supportive environment for recovery.
