Traffic Collisions

Collisions in Edmonton continue to be a problem as the city grows and more and more people are driving. The Edmonton Police Service provides investigation for major collisions and Accident Support Services International provides reporting for insurance claims through Collision Reporting Centres. Please follow our guidelines so you know what to do if you're in a collision.
 
The Hit and Run unit is a specialized unit within Traffic Section. It is comprised of one Sergeant and three Constables. The unit investigates hit and run collisions which are not concluded at the patrol level. Involved in a Hit and Run? Follow our guidelines so you know what to do.

Did you know you can start your CRC collision report from your desktop or mobile phone? This allows motorists to pre-fill in their information prior to attending a CRC.
